Policy Statement on Seed Distribution and Genetic Resource Management:

Plant germplasm is disseminated to scientists, educators, producers, and other legitimate research and educational entities from active MAWRID collection sites. GRIP Curator and/or Research Leader will assess the legitimacy of a request as needed, adhering to current MAWARID policies and procedures.
At Oman Animal and Plant Genetic Resources Center MAWARID, we are committed to the responsible distribution of seeds in accordance with both national and international regulations governing genetic resources. Our policies aim to ensure transparency, compliance, and sustainable use of genetic materials while fostering collaboration and acknowledging the contributions of our partners.
