  • the valid publication of this name is controversial, as Ecklon & Zeyher provided only "Flores saturate rosei" as a potential validating description or diagnosis, with no descriptive matter at all for the other 3 species of Kalanchoe they recognized. Whether or not this satisfies the requirements of Shenzhen Art. 38.1-3 is an open question, but current usage favors adoption of K. tubiflora (Harv.) Raym.-Hamet.
